Have a discussion with your parents, as well as your minister. They are key people that you need to discuss the possibility of a gap year with.

Thoughtfully fill out the application form - you can download it here, and then return to us by emailing a-gape@a-gape.org.au

After reviewing your application and chatting to your referees, we will arrange a time for an interview with you.

This can be in-person, or online via video call or phone.

If accepted, you will receive an offer of acceptance to sign and return.

You will then be in a position to progress discussions with a School for a gap year placement (we can provide guidelines) or seek secular work, as well as schedule a time later in the year for a development discussion.

Later in the year (after the HSC exams), we will discuss and begin forming your development plan, with you, your minister, and an a-GAPe Challenge Team Member, and see what your a-GAPe Challenge may look like.

As the new year rolls around, we'll send an enrolment pack, as well as details for you to pay the fees prior to the year/term starting.

Your a-GAPe Challenge year will then commence on the first Monday in February.
