Part of the a-GAPe Challenge experience are our two mission weeks during the July School Holidays. This is a unique opportunity to partner with other churches and organisations to intentionally share Jesus with their communities. Within our mission weeks, there are two distinct experiences:

Country Mission
Country Mission
In partnership with a country church (in the Armidale Diocese), we will join in the mission efforts of the local church to reach the local town with the gospel over a week.
What you will do could look like running a Kids Holiday Club, Youth Night, pastoral visits to church members, door knocking & helping out the locals. The local church sets the agenda.
Country Mission is low cost, but we also encourage fundraising. Billeting accomodation is arranged.
Our Country Mission Co-ordinator has years of experience in parish ministry both in Western Sydney and in the Armidale Diocese, ensuring that the Country Mission experience meets the needs of the local church, and is an opportunity for you to grow in your mission and ministry experience and capacity.
Western Region Mission
Western Region Mission
The Western Region Mission experience will vary year to year. In partnership with a local church or mission organisation, we will get involved with a mission initiative that seeks to reach the people of Western Sydney with the gospel.
Mission opportunities around this time often include Kids Holiday Clubs and community outreach. We join with what the local church or mission organisation has planned.
As this is local, no accomodation or cost is required.
